The Village

I'm taking a break for a few minutes from some freelance stuff I'm working on.

Have you ever been to a small business in a slightly small town and look on the wall to see a strange cartoon drawing of the area business? You know, the one where the people on the drawing are too large to fit inside the buildings? And they're all saying something like "We're famous for our cheeseburgers," or "Come on in for four-star dining"? If you've never seen one, you're missing out. If you have seen one, you will instantly know how lucky I am to be currently drawing one such glorious masterpiece. (Graphically drawing, not by hand...I'm not that artistic.)

This drawing is of German Village so it's a little tough to make it look good because the architecture is so beautiful.
To give you a glimpse of the past few hours for me, here are some of my favorite parts of the project.
1. A dentist's office complete with dentist and "happy tooth" standing outside the office.
2. Two bail bond business.
3. McDonald's. Complete with Ronald, Birdie, Grimace, Hamburgler, and six Fry Kids.

Well, back to work.
